The business was founded from small beginnings in 2008, when ABC North was launched, a 48-page magazine published six times a year in Ashington, Bedlington and Cramlington (hence ABC!). We now publish four magazines bi-monthly under the ABC title, and recently celebrated 10 years in business. We have developed a reputation for high quality, local, free publications, packed with interesting editorials, local offers, community news and reviews. CORONAVIRUS COVID-19 UPDATE 16/03/20
In these uncertain times with the spread of Covid-19, we at ABC Magazines are carrying on as normal for now. This may change if government advice alters even further but, for the time being, it is business as usual.
We want to continue to help small businesses get the word out to the local community. We work with a wide spectrum of business types, but the one thing they all have in common is the need to continue to get their message out there, especially in times like these. One positive aspect is that people will have a lot more time to read and digest the magazines and leaflets so, once the situation returns back to some semblance of normality, hopefully responses to adverts will be better than ever for local businesses. The shelf life of our magazines will never be longer, so we hope local residents still respond to the adverts in the immediate future, and we should see a surge in activity once things are back to normal.
All magazines will be delivered in accordance with the UK Govenment’s social distancing instructions and Public Health England guidelines regarding Coronavirus.
I hope things don’t carry on this way for too long for everyone’s sake and business picks up even more come the summer time and beyond. Good luck to all the small business owners out there.
